The construction of a chicken coop is a critical factor for longevity. But that said, does the actual fabric of the coop make a big difference? Wood naturally degrades, but if treated, can a wooden chicken coop last as long as a plastic one?

Conclusion
Yes, it seems plastic coops last longer than wooden ones – even with the removable components, plastic chicken coops like Nestera, still hold up in the long run.
The construction of Nestera and Omlet coops and the excellence of engineering means they don’t weaken with time although being dissembled. Tthey maintain integrity and strength.
